Banana PUPsicles – A delicious homemade creamy popsicle that your dog will love! Delicious and good for them too!
1 tbsp Peanut butter (without Xylitol*)
1 cup Yogurt, plain (without Xylitol*)
Mix together, place in paper cups with a stick in the middle. Could even be a chopstick from a Chinese restaurant, just make sure your dog does not eat it. The photo shows rawhide sticks. I do not think most rawhide is safe or healthy for dogs. There are some all natural, chemical free long thin treats that might work. Like bully sticks….http://www.sitstay.com/collections/single-ingredient/products/sitstay-bully-stick-6
Or simply place after it has cooled in the freezer in dog bowl without the stick for a delicious cool dessert.
*Please make sure the peanut butter and yogurt do not have the ingredient Xylitol
Xylitol, a sweetener used in many foods, including peanut butter, yogurt, toothpaste and chewing gum, is safe for humans but potentially deadly for dogs. If ingested, it can cause seizures, liver failure and death, warned one animal hospital, which called xylitol “extremely toxic” to dogs
